Bean Pack
6 - Rattlesnake Pole Bean
Purple stripped, green 6” pods with exceptional flavor. Purple stripes turn green when cooked. Good for fresh eating or as dry beans. Pole bean.
Broccoli & Cabbage Pack
3 - De Cicco Broccoli
Italian multi-harvest variety. Small, 3-4” head followed by a large yield of side shoot mini-heads. Long harvest period. Best in spring and fall.
3 - Golden Acre Cabbage
Round, solid heads on compact plants. Perfect for smaller gardens. Early cabbage. Great for cooking, slaws, and sauerkraut
Cooking Greens Pack
2 - Fordhook Swiss Chard
This variety has been around since 1750. Broad white stems and dark green leaves. High yielding and excellent flavor. Harvest at any size by picking outside leaves and leaving the small, inner leaves to continue growing.
2 - Georgia Collards
Tender, mild flavored greens with heavy yields. Heat tolerant and cold hardy.
2 - Red Russian Kale
Bright purple stems and green frilly leaves. Very tender and sweet compared to other kale types. Cold tolerant and good yields.
Cucumbers Pack
3 - National Pickling Cucumber
Introduced in 1929, this variety was created by the National Pickle Packers Association. Plants are vigorous and dependable. Short thick blunt end cucumbers are perfect for pickling or fresh eat.
3 - Longfellow Cucumber
Standard “straight pack” cucumber. Dark green about 12”long by 2 1/2’’ diameter.
Eggplant Pack
3 - Rosa Bianca Eggplant
Stunning Sicilian variety with light pink fruit streaked with white and violet. Plump, rounded fruit have a mild, creamy taste, no bitterness and few seeds.
3 - Ping Tung Long Eggplant
Easy to grow Asian eggplant that is long and slender with magenta skin. Vigorous producer of 1-2”wide by 12-18”long fruit. Very tender skin does not need to be peeled.
Kale Pack
2 - Red Russian Kale

Red speckled green leaves. Brought to Pennsylvania from Ontario in 1799 in a covered wagon. Mild flavor
2 - Waldmann’s Green Lettuce
This pre-1880 heirloom has bright green, crinkly leaves. Known as a Grand Rapids type lettuce.
2 - New Red Fire Lettuce
Beautiful red and green ruffled heads. Very dependable, slow to bolt. Tender sweet flavor with almost no bitterness.
Melons Pack
3 - Hale’s Best Cantaloupe
Heavy producer of oval-shaped fruits with old-fashioned juicy flavor. Orange flesh and thin rinds. Drought and powdery mildew resistant.
3 - Moon and Stars Watermelon- Ark of Taste
Large fruits (2‘long, 10-16lbs), dark green with yellow spots of varying size giving it the name Moon and Stars. Sweet pink flesh. Requires a long season to ripen.

Colorful Heirloom Tomatoes Pack
1 - Green Zebra Tomato
Green with yellow stripes. Zebra starts out green with dark green stripes, and ripens to slightly more yellow with green stripes. Small-medium fruits are 4 to 5 oz with green flesh.
1 - Brandywine Tomato- Ark of Taste
Pink, large fruit. Probably the most widely recognized heirloom tomato. Excellent flavor. Many think that Brandywine has the perfect balance of sweet, tartness, and tangy. Fruits have smooth, dark pink skins and weigh around a pound, similar shape as beef stake.
1 - Cherokee Purple Tomato- Ark of TasteDark dark purple-brownish skin and deep red inside with green shoulders and circular cracking, 10-13oz. Top heirloom, well known for its superior taste. From Tennessee, said to have originated with the Cherokee Indians. Very good depth of flavor, sweet with a hint of smoky flavor.
1 - Garden Peach Tomato
Yellow, smallish. Two oz tomatoes blush pink when ripe with thin, fuzzy skins. Juicy and very sweet with a flavor unexpected from a tomato.
1 - Pineapple Tomato
When cut in half this huge tomato looks like a pineapple with yellow and red marbling. Silky smooth texture, complex fruity flavor, and low acid sweetness. Typical tomatoes are 1lb or more.
1 - Black Cherry Tomato
Purple-black, 1” round cherry tomatoes. Rich flavor is sweet and complex.
Mixed Size Red Tomatoes Pack
2 - Red Fig Tomato- Ark of Taste
Red, pear-shaped 1 1/2” fruits. Heirloom from Philadelphia in 1805, once substituted for figs by gardeners who packed away crates of dried tomatoes for winter use. Heavy yields.
2 - San Marzano Paste Tomato- Ark of Taste
Red, paste tomato. Classic Italian favorite with high yields. Excellent rich-flavored tomato for fresh eating or preserving. Firm pulp, low seed count, and easily-removed skin.
2 - Rutgers Tomato
Red, about 8oz round tomatoes. New Jersey heirloom. Good yields. Determinate plant.
Peppers Pack
2 - King of the North Bell Pepper
Green bell peppers that will ripen to red. Variety does well in northern areas, even in cool or short seasons. Nice size glossy, thick walled bell peppers.
2 - Fish Hot Pepper- Ark of Taste
Hot pepper. Green and white streaked fruit turns to orange/red striped, 3”long fruit. Historically grown extensively in African-American communities around Philadelphia and Baltimore, and used in oyster and crab houses around Chesapeake Bay. Medium hot and beautiful.
2 - Corno Di Toro Sweet Red Pepper (Horn of the Bull)
Long narrow 6-8” peppers are named for their bull-horn shape. Peppers start green then turn golden and finally deep crimson color. Sweet full bodied flavor, best when fully ripe. Plants are vigorous
Zucchini & Summer Squash Pack
3 - Costata Romanesco Zucchini
Green stripped zucchini. Italian heirloom, tender with a unique, slightly nutty flavor and exceptional texture. Gourmet variety.
3 - Yellow Crookneck Summer Squash
Yellow summer squash. Domesticated by Native North Americans before the Pilgrims. Listed as early at 1828 in the seed trade. Bush plants are productive, bumpy, and best harvested young.
